Health and safety on your project

Health and safety is always our first priority.

Due to recent changes in construction legislation, all domestic/non-commercial construction projects now need to conform to the requirements of the Construction Design and Management Regulations (CDM) 2015.

What does this mean in practice?

Health and safety for your project starts with the design.

We will ensure that your project is designed with safety in mind. This means that when the time comes to build that it is carried out safely, with consideration for you, your neighbours, and those in close proximity to the works. This also ensures that all building risks are kept to an absolute minimum, which goes ‘hand-in glove’ with a professional and well run job.

Health and safety regulations involves the completion of some important paperwork. Woodhart will take care of this for you. Our architects and health and safety advisors will make sure everything is completed safely and professionally.

Compliance with these regulations means we are able to bring you safe and professional service, which is at the heart of everything we do while carrying out your project.

What does this mean for you?

As a domestic client you have a responsibility to ensure that your project is designed and carried out safely.

We work with architects, designers and our own health and safety professionals to ensure your client responsibilities are satisfied and that your project complies with this important piece of legislation.
