Woodhart Group is really pleased to announce that we will be supporting the Friends of Westdene Green with its barn refurbishment project.
The refurbishment will enable the barn to become a multipurpose space for all the community to enjoy. The project is currently underway with extensive building and refurbishment works in the pipeline. At the barn Woodhart will be building large wall to wall shelving units and a storage area.
The barn is a fantastic community space that brings people together though events and community activities. It aims to help build a more connected community by creating a focal point for a variety of enriching activities, social events and information and by engaging local people of all ages.
The completed refurbishment will be revealed at the Musical Midsummer launch event on Sunday 18th June. The event is part of the ‘Big Lunch’ and will feature music from internationally-renowned pianist Sarah Nicolls, battle of the bands winners Optical, a funk group called Hot Damn and 20-piece Montreux Jazz Festival performers, the Brighton and Hove Youth Big Band.
We’re really proud to now be classed as ‘Barn Buddies’. Join us for the celebration of the barn reopening on Sunday 18th June from 12-4pm.
